Introduction

We are excited to invite you to the inaugural meeting of SIG LLODIA, taking place on Friday 23rd May 2025. This is the first event from our new Special Interest Group focused on Languages, Logic, and Ontologies for Digital Twin Design, Interoperability, and Analysis. The lecture is titled Ontology in Digital Twins – Exploring Semantic Interoperability and Systemic Connections.

About the event

This event brings together researchers, professionals, and technologists to explore how language technologies, logic frameworks, and ontologies can power the next generation of digital twins.

We’re honoured to host Mark Enzer OBE FREng as our keynote speaker. Mark will explore how ontologies and semantic understanding can unlock interoperability across complex systems, with insights from his leadership in the National Digital Twin programme and academic roles at Cambridge and Imperial College London.
